LUCCA JAYCOASTAL CAROLINA UNVERSITY

Repetition rules the world of design and marketing, original thought and creation are something the world of creativity lacks. As I begin my journey into this industry my goal is to stray away from the normalcies that confine the field of graphic design. To create imagery that extends beyond just a good-looking layout or color palette. Inspiration for my work is taken from the natural world surrounding us—bringing the consumer back to the roots of our existence through design and photography. More specifically, my whole life I have been fascinated with the natural world. Whether it be my research of herpetology, my love for fishing, the art of surfing, the art of landscaping, and countless other hobbies/ professions, I draw my inspiration from them all.

With more than a handful of jobs/ professions under my belt, I learned quickly how important work ethic is. As my physical design skills progress, my dedication and effort in what is at hand is my selling point. Teaching surf lessons and working as a hockey coach taught me how to be patient and communicate the right way. Landscaping taught me to pay attention to detail. The Earth taught me to be humble, and I can’t wait to never stop learning.
